Public administration reform and anti-corruption
UNDP Bratislava Regional Centre concentrates on making effective contributions to the achievement of two overarching developmental goals:
Programme initiatives are designed and implemented to support country-level activities as well as regional activities that complement country-level efforts by UNDP. These activities will enable the transfer of knowledge across the region and should result in the development of strategies, methodologies and good practices that can be replicated. Community of Practice The Bratislava Regional Centre aims at enhancing the capacity of the Regional Community of Practice on Public Administration Reform and Anti-Corruption (PAR-AC). The Community of Practice should take an active part in identifying and developing regional and sub-regional project initiatives, and the Bratislava Regional Centre aims to strengthen its role in knowledge management, to create stronger links between regional and country-level projects on PAR-AC to enhance impact and sustainability and to support multi-country initiatives generated by country offices. Knowledge Management Besides facilitation of the Community of Practice meetings, which in themselves constitute a great platform for knowledge sharing, UNDP BRC is also developing knowledge products and informative websites regarding Public Administration Reform and Anti-Corruption.
